Los ahora huérfanos e intrascendentes premios VMAs 2026 de MTV que premian el arte de (aún) hacer videos, se seguirán haciendo. La transmisión será el 27 de septiembre desde Los Ángeles y será transmitido por Paramount+
Este año las más nominadas son MAdonna y Taylor Swift mientras que pelusearon a Charli XCX, Harry Styles y Olivia Rodrigo con muy pocas nominaciones. Algunos de los cambios que hubieron para los VMAs 2026 son la eliminación de las categorías de Rock, Mejor Grupo, Afrobeat, Actuación del Año, Álbu del Año, Video con Mensaje, Video Largo y Canción del Verano.
